Negative scanning

It’s ALIVE!!! *lightning flash* *thunder*

My new professional SLR scanning set up for my negatives!! Like a Frankenstein’s monster, I can replace/upgrade parts individually as is necessary! The major advantage over flatbed scanners imo.

Kit:

Sony A7R IV (overkill, probably)

50mm Canon FD Macro Lens with Life Size Adapter for 1:1 magnification ratio

SmallRig Parts for camera stand

Neweer LED panel (not really important what model, kept it’s foam to act as a stand

The Essential Film Holder (Price/Quality wise, nothing else even compares!

I scan using Sony’s own Imaging Edge software. It can’t invert (I just use photoshop) but it’s very user friendly (and cheap)!
